Is your ISP throttling bandwidth?

The United States 195.45 Mbps download 68.70 Mbps upload average internet speed.

Internet speed is a complex issue linked to many aspects of human rights. Governments try to control content and internet speeds and many ISPs throttle bandwidth (speed) whenever they seek more profits. You must pay more to get what you had. The ISP gets richer by collecting fees selling what they took from you. It's actually a very dirty business as we head into a technology world where gigabits per second is not uncommon at all. Next it will be gigabytes per second. Don't be fooled by the difference in bits and bytes. One byte is equivalent to eight bits. A bit is considered to be the smallest unit of data measurement.
To learn if your bandwidth is throttled by your ISP, use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) on a trial and compare your settings here: at our open source speed test and compare the results. If the VPN speeds are faster, you can see just how much you are being throttled (cheated). In this case, keep using the VPN and you will get back what you are being robbed and be much safer in the long run. Freedom to connect vs ISP bandwidth throttling. Human Right: Freedom to connect.

Safe Internet access on reliable devices is crucial to the work of students and professionals as well as the safety of citizens everywhere on Earth. The right to Internet access, also known as the right to broadband or freedom to connect, is the view that all people must be able to access the Internet in order to exercise and enjoy their rights to freedom of expression and opinion and other fundamental human rights, that states have a responsibility to ensure that Internet access is broadly available, and that states may not unreasonably restrict an individual's access to the Internet. For free technical help you are welcome to contact partner 'Computing Devices MD' and their engineers will try to respond within a couple days or earlier.
